Handsome Serge

When a young urbanite, François, returns to his hometown in the countryside, he reconnects with his old friend Serge, only to find a broken shell of a man - alcoholic and unhappily married. His quest to rescue Serge from self-destruction add an element of spirituality which elevates the film to an allegorical level.
